Neighbourhood Plan: The Parish Council discussed the Neighbourhood Plan (NP) and based on the NP open meeting views and seeing the results of the Avant planning decision, we have decided that we should go ahead. We’ll shortly be following up with invitations to a meeting in January with those residents that offered to help so we can plan our next steps. We’ll be in touch soon as we finalise dates. Our consultant will be David Gluck given his experience and proven capability in this field and we’ll fund the effort in large part through a temporary increase in the Parish Council Precept.

The 2026 Parish Council Budget: The Parish Council also set the budget and the Parish Council Precept this evening for the coming year, (including support for the neighbourhood plan).  The Precept to support the village and provide funding for our Neighbourhood Plan will mean an increase of around £1.63 per month on an average Band D property.
