The Parish Council has installed a new dog waste bin near Anchor House, responding to repeated requests from residents who regularly use the surrounding area for dog walking. The location has long been a popular route for local dog owners, and the addition of a dedicated bin aims to help keep the footpaths cleaner and more enjoyable for everyone.
In a generous show of community spirit, the same residents who asked for the bin have kindly offered to ensure it is emptied on a regular basis. Their support means the bin can be maintained without additional cost to the parish, whilst helping promote responsible dog ownership across the village.
The Parish Council extends its thanks to those involved for both raising the need and volunteering their time to help keep Bishop Monkton tidy.
