Highlights
Playground by the Village Hall: The Parish Council remains committed to improving the playground next to the Village Hall, but in the meantime the play area is ready for a spruce‑up. We’re seeking a small team of volunteers to clean and repaint it. It’s a simple way to make a big difference to the children who use it every day. Any time you can give will be hugely appreciated. The 36 Bus Shelter, Moor Road: The 36 bus shelter at the top of Moor Road has now been fully cleaned after a resident raised concerns about its condition. The Parish Council arranged for the shelter to be washed down and cleared, improving visibility and making it more welcoming for passengers. Thank you to the resident who brought this to our attention; community feedback helps us keep village facilities in good shape.
Cemetery Area: Following a resident request, work is now underway to improve the upkeep of the cemetery. The first cut has been completed, and further arrangements are being put in place to ensure a consistent and reliable maintenance schedule across the whole area.
