Bishop Monkton Neighbourhood Plan: You may remember from previous notes that the council has been looking at whether we should create a neighbour hood plan to have a level of influence over planning for the village. Tonight the Council resolved to set up a working group with the remit to hold a public consultation to explain what a neighbourhood plan is, what it does and what it will involve. Our intent is to hold this in November and we’ll look to gauge village interest and commitment. We’ll update the website as well as inform Bishop Monkton Today and Bishop Monkton Together when we have further details.

History Board: The board has finally arrived and we’ll shortly be installing in the vicinity of the village hall.
