BISHOP MONKTON PARISH COUNCIL NOTICE OF CO-OPTION VACANCY
Bishop Monkton Parish Council currently has a vacancy for a Parish Councillor, which it intends to fill by co-option.
If you are interested in serving your local community and helping to shape the future of Bishop Monkton, we invite you to apply for this rewarding role.
Eligibility Criteria: To qualify, you must be:
- A British citizen, Commonwealth citizen, or citizen of an EU member state,
- At least 18 years old,
- And meet at least one of the following:
- Be registered as a local government elector for Bishop Monkton,
- Have lived in, or within three miles of, Bishop Monkton for the past twelve months,
- Have occupied as owner or tenant any land or premises in Bishop Monkton for the past twelve months,
- Have had your principal or only place of work in Bishop Monkton for the past twelve months.
Certain disqualifications apply, including bankruptcy restrictions, recent imprisonment, or employment with the Parish Council.
