The Parish Council has completed a number of projects including:

Arranged for the hedgegrow at the rear of the burial ground to be cut.

Councillor Verrill and Councillor Ayliffe cut the grass in the village including; the village sign in the Boroughbridge direction, the village sign in the Ripon direction including removing hedge branches covering the 30mph sign, and strimmed the edges of the burial ground after a volunteer kindly cut the grass

Purchase and installed a new grit bin on St Johns Way and these will be checked and filled on a regular basis.

After months of planning, the Parish Council has joint funded the installation of a bus shelter on the A61 at Moor Lane top. Thanks to Councillor Michael Harrison of North Yorkshire County Council who provided significant funding for this project. Pictured at the shelter is a very pleased Councillor Stephen Verrill who organised the work.

The Parish Council organised and paid for the installation of a sandbag locker near the Ford Crossing. By storing them here, the sandbags will be close at hand when they are needed in times of flooding.
